Aenzi (pronounced en-zee) is Swahili for strength, power and to reign. Aenzi describes our dogs and our kennel's mission.
The mission of Aenzi is betterment of Rhodesian Ridgebacks and maintenance of their power and beauty by:
- Breeding for temperament, structural and genetic soundness, and conformance to the breed standard
- Establishing and upholding the highest ethics and standards
- Promoting the sport of dogs and responsible dog ownership
- Being a resource for our puppy owners
Aenzi is recognized for developing show and performance champions with wonderful temperaments. Our dogs and puppies are family raised and socialized receiving the utmost care and love. Whether you are seeking breed knowledge, interested in a pet, show or performance dog, we are here to pass on to you our appreciation for dogs and Ridgebacks. We would enjoy talking to you about our dogs and having you meet our promising youngsters, current winners, and performance dogs.
We owe our success from the well rounded experienced input from our mentors, friends from the dog community and veterinary experts such as: Ridgeback Breeders (Rare Earth Ridgebacks), Dog Training Experts (Animal Inn Training Center), Coursing Colleagues (Northwind Whippets), those involved in other breeds (Wyoming Golden Retrievers) and veterinarians (Stillwater Veterinary Clinic).
